Congratulations to Steve Paget, Senior Technical Support Manager at MiTek, for completing the Nottingham Half Marathon on Sunday 29th September!
Steve battled tough conditions with strong winds and heavy rain for much of the race to complete his first half marathon in a very respectable time of 2hrs 22mins. It sounds like it may not be his last though, with Steve commenting ‘ it was a great experience and really helps build confidence. You really have to dig deep to finish.’
Steve’s daughter Hannah also completed the race, her fifth half marathon, in a brilliant 1hr 55mins and between them the have pair raised over £1000 for homeless charity Shelter, a fantastic achievement.
