Benchmark Design & Construction specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of timber frame solutions; roof trusses and metal web joists, they also provide specialised site carpentry; 1st and 2nd fix carpentry; and project management. The company – (Benchmark Carpenters & Joiners Ltd) operates throughout the Channel Islands as a whole and is the only timber frame manufacturing company within Jersey.
At Benchmark, our products and services are very much favoured over traditional build options, due to the cost and time savings offered with our timber frame solutions. We do however offer project specific designed solutions for traditional build projects through main construction contractors, small building contractors and private clients to achieve their roof truss, floor platforms and extension requirements.
We have more than 15 years’ experience in the industry and have the capabilities to offer the total solution; design, manufacture and Installation, through to practical completion and handover. With our range of services, we can undertake the entire construction project if necessary.
Timber frame buildings are more cost effective to build and insulate, more cost effective to run and they improve the carbon footprint. With timber coming from sustainable and renewable sources, the industry is moving significantly towards timber frame construction and Benchmark have the skills and the capabilities to provide the best solutions possible.
